OUR STORY
The (BARE) BASE philosophy was to create a simple, easy-to-use and apply but powerful and effective skincare routine for your body. One that is easy enough to use all year round without requiring too much effort and too many products. We know skincare for the body often gets neglected; meanwhile, we spend a lot of money and attention on products for our face. With this in mind, our products were meticulously thought out, from the easy-to-apply textures to the convenient packaging. We don’t believe you need ten different products to create beautiful, soft, radiant skin but a few simple steps to exfoliate, hydrate, and heal your body.
Our products aim to provide deep exfoliation to remove dead skin, improve circulation and increase moisture absorption. They also provide intense hydration and healing to improve skin elasticity, promote collagen production and slow anti-aging while leaving your skin fresh and radiant. Our powerful ingredients also help to fight free radicals and environmental damage. Delicately formulated using only natural and botanical ingredients, our essential products contain no nasty toxins or chemicals.
While working on the (BARE) BASE brand, I was blessed to fall pregnant with my first child. This delightful surprise made me grateful for the skin ritual I had created and been using consistently as my skin felt nourished, hydrated and soft enough to stretch and grow with the ever-changing body pregnancy brings. Having already established a good body care routine that I continued throughout my pregnancy allowed me the best chance of avoiding any itching, tightness and stretch marks. Although I am aware sometimes these things are unavoidable, I went to bed every night, content with how my body would continue to change, knowing it was hydrated and nourished with only the best botanical ingredients.
